Sketches were drawn with Derwent graphic pencils, charcoal and graphite in a Strathmore Hardbound Sketchbook with acid-free, lightly textured pages. Subjects were primarily from the tutorial I Can Draw! 8 Volumes in 1 by George Carlson or still life around Manhattan.
